Our program's co-founder, Andrea Jasdanwala, RN, MSN, FNP-C, is a family and addiction nurse practitioner, specializing in the care of individuals grappling with Substance Use Disorder. Andrea earned her B.A. in psychology and M.S. in Nursing from the University of Michigan, bringing a wealth of expertise and knowledge to our organization and the individuals we serve.
With a deep comprehension of the intricate and interconnected factors that contribute to Substance Use Disorder, Andrea goes beyond the surface. Her background in treatment has significantly influenced our housing and sober living program model. She not only considers the biological and psychological aspects but also delves into the social and environmental elements that play a role in the development of addiction and mental health disorders. This holistic perspective enables her to deliver a comprehensive approach to treatment, addressing not only addiction itself but also its underlying causes and contributing factors.
Furthermore, Andrea possesses extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in a wide array of addiction treatment modalities, encompassing pharmacological and behavioral therapies. This expertise empowers her to collaborate with program residents in formulating personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and circumstances. She then provides steadfast support and guidance to help individuals navigate their treatment journey with confidence and success.
With over 12 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Andrea brings a vital skill set and training that are essential to the success of ORH's peer respite and sober living housing program. Furthermore, Andrea serves as a tireless advocate for ORH residents, ensuring they receive the care and support necessary to embark on and sustain their path to recovery.

As a person in long term recovery and with 17 years of experience in serving our community, Misty believes in the vision of Ozark Recovery Housing that when we provide safe, beautiful stable housing and meet client’s basic needs of medical, food, clothing and security, clients can best focus on the message of recovery.
Misty spent the first 10 years of her early adulthood, as a Licensed Practical Nurse before experiencing her own struggles, entering recovery and deciding that she wanted to help people that struggled with addiction just as herself.
Misty worked as a Certified Peer Specialist and then a Community Support Specialist before coming to Ozark Recovery Housing. In 2023, she earned her CADC through the Missouri Credentialing Board. Previously, she worked as a substance use counselor and batterer’s interventionist in a private practice and held an MAADC II. She is also certified in WRAP and "Seeking Safety", which is a treatment modality for PTSD and SUD. Since coming to Ozark, Misty has earned her credential as a Medication Assisted Recovery Specialist and Harm Reduction Specialist to better serve our clients interested in medication assisted treatment.
In her free time, Misty spends her time with her family. Her son, daughter in law, 2 grandchildren, and her daughter are her world. She enjoys traveling and spending weekends at the family farm.
